Iowa Interstate PESI 4-8-25

When I passed by the East Peoria Yard mid-afternoon, I heard radio chatter indicating a crew was aboard IAIS 509 and would shortly go into the yard and couple to PESI. So I left the downtown library early to check. Sure enough, I had crossed the river and realized the train was snaking its way through downtown.

Union Pacific's LPD01 Derails Due to Vandals 11-18-24!

Union Pacific's LPD01 job leaves and departs Adams Street Yard in Peoria on July 1, 2024.   I hope the judge makes an example of these two clowns!   Union Pacific's LPD01 job was either going to or returning from Collier Yard to work the Keokuk Junction Railway and Toledo, Peoria & Western Railway interchanges.
