Now that the PIA survey has concluded, I hope the team has enough ammo to secure Denver return. I noticed this week that Cedar Rapids has UA flights to Denver on A319. That has to be a boon for that airport. Anything similar coming our way you reckon?
I'd say Denver is PIA's top priority, and should resume in the near future. The only caveat is rising fuel prices. I can't see UA mainline here but PIA-DEN service might use a larger jet, like a CRJ700 on one daily roundtrip.

The only fatal Peoria-area plane crash involving a scheduled air carrier occurred October 21, 1971 when Chicago & Southern Airlines Flight #804 went down while attempting to land in poor weather conditions.
